Founder & Principal Consultant
Christopher Winchell brings more than 25 years of executive-level experience in public education to every client engagement. His career has spanned roles as a classroom teacher, building principal, and district superintendent — giving him a comprehensive, ground-level understanding of how schools and districts actually work.
As a superintendent, Christopher led districts through school improvement initiatives, financial restructuring, facilities planning, and community engagement challenges. He has worked with boards of education across the region, helping them govern effectively and support strong district leadership.
Christopher founded School Support Services, LLC to make that depth of experience available to districts that need it most — providing the kind of trusted, practical guidance that transforms challenges into opportunities for growth.
